Advertisment Research

Whilst thinking about QVC, Kleeneze and Betterware as suggested by my tutors, I remembered this music video from a year or so ago.


It really epitomises what shopping channels such as QVC are like. The fake over-enthusiastic presenters and the ridiculous products that sell by the truckload even though any sane person wouldn't spend a penny on the garbage that they sell. Plus the 'deals' they offer and the apparent bargain you'll be getting if you buy from them rather than anywhere else. I will definitely be looking at this video in more detail when it comes to designing packaging and advertising for my hats, especially some of the language they use to emphasise the low prices and 'got-to-have-it' mentally that some people have.
